Midway White Beach Resort is located at Tubigan, Initao, Misamis Oriental. It’s a 50 minute plane ride from Manila to Cagayan de Oro City and 45 minutes drive from Cagayan de Oro City to Initao. Entrance fee is 50php, amenities include; ZipLine, Open Cottages, Jetski, Banana Boat, Glass Bottom Boat, Swimming Pools, and Private Rooms.

Open Cottage rate start at 300php, as  of this writing. While standard room rate starts at 1400php. If you take the jeepney from Cagayan de Oro’s West Bound Terminal, fare will cost you around 50-70php, bus fare is around 70-130php.

Where To Stay in Cagayan de Oro?

Alright, so Cagayan de Oro City is located in Northern Mindanao, Philippines, blah blah. Provided that you already know how to get to the City by plane or boat, your next agenda would be where to stay. First of all, these are just suggestions from yours truly. There are a quite a few hotels and inns around the city. And no, I’m not writing them all up.

1. Stargate Dream Vacation Resort go ahead and click on the link, it’s gonna bring you to their facebook page. They opened to the public just last March 09 of this year.  It’s located at Upper Macasandig, South Diversion Road, Cagayan de Oro City. I heard, that the view there is breath-taking, overlooking the Cagayan de Oro river. But again I just heard that from the grapevine.
2. N Hotel the link will take you directly to their own website which will showcase their rooms and amenities. It’s strategically located at Kauswagan National Highway. They’ve got Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a laundry service, fitness center and a pool. You can also arrange for an airport or seaport pick-up. They accept all major credit cards. 3. Travelers Pod now this is nice. Located at the Ground Floor, Gateway Tower, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City. Check their website by clicking the link above to check their “pods”. Lowest “pod” rate is 400php. The great thing about them? You’re in the heart of the city. Just outside it is the Gateway Tower branch of Jollibee (a fastfood restaurant), Mercury Drugstore, major banks and ATM machines, and you can take the “overpass”to Limketkai Mall. 4. Golden Stallion Suites located at 21 – 27 Street | Barangay Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro, at the heart of the city. Read some good reviews about the inn from TripAdvisor. Rate per night starts at 700php. They have yet to put-up a website, contact them through (088)8511912 or (08822)725071.

The hotels or inns above are a few of those strategically located w/in or near the city for convenience. So if you’re planning on visiting CDO for your summer getaway to White Water Raft or whatever, you may want to stay somewhere convenient, true? Go check them up and reserve.
